Beneath a good finish

Preparation comes first.

Steve assesses the surface before deciding what it needs.

01

Make good

Filling and minor plaster repairs where required. Larger repairs need a plasterer before decorating.

02

Prepare

Light sanding and washing down with sugar soap, with specialist stain-blocking paints where needed.

03

Finish

Mist-coat new plaster once dry, complete the usual preparation and apply the agreed finish.
